Abstract:
The largest biomass event of 2005, featuring a record number of 1142 Participants from 78 countries from all over the world, the 14th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition represented a first-rate opportunity for exchange of experiences and ideas, dissemination of results, demonstration, application and market implementation of the state-of-the-art products and technologies by the foremost companies in the field, as well as networking and making business valuable contacts. The great success of this global event underlined the rapidly growing market in energy and products derived from biomass, agricultural residues and energy-rich vegetation and their contribution to alleviate the world’s pressing climate and environmental problems.
